Commonweal launches new design ideas competition

Leading on from the Thames Reach research sponsored by Commonweal in to the lives of Romanian migrant workers living in tent encampments around London, Commonweal are now picking the brains and creativity of the architecture and design world to identify new transitional short-term accommodation ideas; options that can make use of empty existing buildings and meanwhile use spaces. This new design competition with a closing date of Friday 23rd June is about generating new ideas and fresh thinking that can potentially offer new housing solutions to a very specific social injustice.
