Our Role Model Concept

Commonweal comprises of a small team of people with skills and resources that are most effectively employed in solving housing solutions in depth rather than in breadth.  For this reason, we believe we make the biggest difference by concentrating on resolving those challenges which larger organisations cannot tackle but, if they are resolved, can do great things to overcome social injustices.

We aim to achieve the biggest difference by delivering role model housing and service provisions that resolve a social injustice that, for reasons of public policy, viability, economics, prejudice or lack of sensitivity, is not currently being addressed adequately.

Taking on such challenges is difficult, whether defining the solution or delivering it, but Commonweal relishes the challenges and the satisfaction that can come from success so seeks equally dedicated partners to work with us firstly to turn our concepts into reality and secondly to achieve Proof of Concept.  After attaining the status of proof of concept and thereby created a role model, we work with our partners in a crusade to achieve replication of our concepts and campaign for resolving social injustices.
